OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Finisher to join our growing team.In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishes, stains, paints, and protective coatings to custom cabinetry, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about woodworking, finishing techniques, and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced construction environment.Responsibilities Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal finish application Apply stains, paints, varnishes, lacquers, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or hand tools with precision and consistency Inspect finished cabinets for quality control, ensuring smooth surfaces and proper color matching Follow detailed project schematics and blueprints to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on the job site Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for minor repairs or adjustments during the finishing process Qualifications Proven experience in cabinet finishing, woodworking, or related construction trades with a strong portfolio of completed projects Knowledge of various finishing techniques primarily staining and painting Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to cabinetry projects Skilled in the use of hand tools such as sanders, brushes, scrapers as well as power tools including spray guns and drills Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large cabinet components or materials Strong attention to detail with an eye for color consistency and surface smoothness Join us if you're eager to bring craftsmanship excellence to life through expert finishing skills!
