New York, NY Contract Duration: 6 months contract Job Description: Client is looking for consultant who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of paid products and services. You will help uncover subscriber motivations, behaviors, and unmet needs across the subscription portfolio. Your research and insights will directly influence strategies to acquire, engage, and retain subscribers, while supporting the mission to deliver premium entertainment experiences to millions of people worldwide. Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end research projects (qualitative and quantitative) to uncover consumer insights that drive subscription growth strategies. Conduct advanced pricing research (e.g., Conjoint, Gabor-Granger methodologies) to inform subscription pricing and packaging strategies. Size Total Addressable Market (TAM), calibrate conjoint data, and deliver actionable business recommendations. Develop, design, and manage surveys (Value Proposition, Pricing, Messaging, MaxDiff, etc.) to evaluate consumer needs and positioning effectiveness. Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Finance, Analytics) to translate insights into actionable strategies for subscriber acquisition and retention. Manage external research vendors, ensuring accountability, quality, and timely delivery of insights. Synthesize complex data into clear narratives and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Combine art and science by blending analytical rigor with creative storytelling to shape YouTube's subscription strategy.
