Position Overview The Customer Journey Orchestration Application Analyst will support the design, configuration, integration, and ongoing maintenance of applicable applications to enable personalized, automated communications with providers and customers. This role will serve as the primary application analyst for the relevant platforms, partnering with Marketing Automation, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure stable integrations, accurate data flow, and reliable platform performance. As ownership of platforms transition from vendor support to internal teams, the Application Analyst will be responsible for evaluating current configurations, supporting ongoing enhancements, and implementing new integrations on a regular basis. The role will focus on backend configuration, API and data integrations, system upgrades, and production support, while collaborating with business partners who manage message content and communication strategy. This position will contribute to standardizing support models, documentation, and SDLC processes, and will support platform expansion efforts, including future international implementations. Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible for business systems design and configuration, upgrades, and improvements for low complexity applications using established processes and procedures. Estimate and assess impact of requested changes to assigned business system and/or platform. Guide workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyze technical issues. Develop new processes and procedures in partnership with leadership and business teams. Create and maintain technical documentation. Contribute to peer design and code reviews. Identify issues that arise in the application area, as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to resolve them. Create and maintain system documentation. Liaise with business systems stakeholders and software vendor’s implementation staff to ensure alignment of business needs with the delivery of system changes. Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows; proactively identify opportunities to improve business workflow with technology improvements. Help develop, document, and participate in trainings and work with end users. Troubleshoot problems and questions, and provide regular updates on status. Provide end-user production support for issues entered into issue tracking systems. Review the status of projects and issues with project leadership. Demonstrate flexibility with respect to changing end-user business needs. Apply strong problem-solving skills.
