Job Description
Our Quality team is expanding and looking to add a Customer Quality Manager . We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector. Requirements Customer Quality Manage r aims to ensure that the products and/or services an organization provides are fit for purpose and meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations. Other duties include: Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. Report to top management on the performance of the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and any need for improvement. Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization and liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Quality Management System, and Environmental Management System. Management Rep for ISO 14001 and TS-16949. Achieve and maintain TS-16949 certification and compliance. Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements. Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers. Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation. Set boundary standards and establish clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply. Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff. Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures. Liaising with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications. Establishing standards of service for customers or clients. Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports. Organize and manage quality assurance functions in close cooperation with customers and the company’s management team (member of management team). Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training. Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters. Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary. Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks. Writing technical and management systems reports. Manage and maintain the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods. Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC. Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues. Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing them with customer requirements. To qualify for this role you must meet the following: A business/technical bachelor’s degree and +5 years of work experience in a related field Masters degree preferred TS Lead auditor certification preferred Automotive manufacturing experience Key To Being Successful In This Role Good written and oral communication skills Knowledge of customer procedures and expectations Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to take ownership with minimal direction Why work for Minth?
