As a customer service professional, you’ll play a key role in keeping our Environmental Health Department running smoothly while creating a positive first impression for the public we serve.This position will require a candidate who is fluent in both English & Spanish and this is listed as part of the preferred qualifications for this role. The annual salary for this position is $38,000 with access to a generous benefits package including health, vision, dental plus so much more! EXAMPLE OF DUTIES What You’ll Do: Create a friendly, professional, and welcoming front desk environment for clients and visitorsServe as the first point of contact - answering calls, assisting walk-ins, and guiding the public through Environmental Health servicesProvide accurate information, respond to questions, and help connect clients to the right resourcesMulti-task between duties to support functions of the departmentCollect and process fees with accuracy and professionalismSupport daily operations through clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, messaging, and photocopyingUse modern office technology and computer systems to complete administrative work efficientlyCross-train in multiple areas and step in where needed to support a fast-paced, mission-driven team SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION GNR Public Health does not accept resumes without a fully completed employment application.
