We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team.In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support.Your ability to communicate effectively and analyze customer needs will be essential in ensuring a positive experience for our customers.If you are passionate about client services and have strong phone etiquette, and a DME background we want to hear from you! General:Works with referral sources, physician's offices and patients to build an order.Works with company billing personnel to provide documents needed for reimbursement.Responsible To:Office Manager Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for all incoming referrals and orders for delivery and pick up, including but not limited to:Patient demographics Emergency contact information Insurance information and verification Physician information Diagnosis Billing information Completes verification of insurance for DME coverage and prior authorization information, including but not limited to:Deductible Effective date Claims address Completes any special instructions for billing to the patient's insurance prior to the delivery.Work with DME office manager and Warehouse personnel to meet the patient's needs for unusual equipment or supplies.Inform patient or patient's caregiver of benefits (what the policy reimburses).Arrange private pay billing if required.Works with patients/clients to solve a variety of problems, thereby acting as a company field representative.Work with family or referral source and warehouse personnel on delivery and/or pick up arrangements.Responsible for working Open Orders Report. Responsible for confirming completed work orders in a timely manner.Responsible for forwarding completed paperwork to the DME office manager to log equipment set-up and pick up for tracking purposes.Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with customers.Markets the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.Assumes other duties within scope of training as assigned by the DME office manager Environmental Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:Must possess mobility to work in and move about in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.Sitting in a seated position for extended periods of time.Reaching out by extending hands or arms in any direction Strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds Communication skills using the spoken word, both in person and over the telephone.Visual ability to read materials in either a printed format or on a computer screen Stamina to maintain attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.Competative pay Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalency Bilingual preferred Experience/Knowledge:-1-3 years of experience in DME -Good organizational skills.Willing to function as a cooperative team member.Responsible and cooperative attitude.Clean and neat in personal appearance.Shift:8 hour shift Job Type:Full-time Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person Pay:Up to $25.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
