Job Description
Job Title:Customer Service Representative About us:Firecode Safety Equipment is a family-owned and independent local business that has been proudly serving the Sacramento region since 1982.We are one of Northern California's largest fire and safety equipment firms, and we have a relaxed yet productive work environment.This position is performed from the office in Sacramento - in person.The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, depending on education and previous experience.Please read the qualifications before applying for this position.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers via phone, email, and in person.Qualifications:Associate's degree or higher in business, related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum two years office-related customer service experience.Previous call center experience preferred.Problem-solving skills in an up-tempo environment.Professional attitude and communication skills.Work experience in an intense production or sales environment.Comfortable handling large incoming/outgoing call volume.Due to current client contracts, all candidates must pass drug screening and clear criminal background checks.Responsibilities:Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships.Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.Develop a trusted advisory relationship with key accounts.Conduct daily scheduling calls.Liaise between the customer and our team of technicians.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; asking questions and solidifying your understanding of our industry.Enhance the department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.Responsible for spending some time on sales to integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships.Ensure that your customers' invoices are communicated and received in the most effective way.Monitor, analyze, and make decisions on customers' usage of our services.Benefits:Firecode Safety Equipment, Inc.offers competitive compensation and an outstanding benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and IRA retirement plan.To Apply:If you meet the qualifications, are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and are looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing company, please submit your resume, (cover letter preferred).We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Drug Testing employer.We do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, or basis of disability, or any other federal, state, or local protected class.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s):What is your longest tenure (in years) with a single employer?
