Employer Industry: Government Services Why Consider This Job Opportunity Salary up to $31.25 per hour Comprehensive benefits program including healthcare benefits, paid leave, retirement plans, and education assistance Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Dynamic and collaborative work environment focused on innovation and customer success Fixed shift schedule with operating hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM EST What To Expect (Job Responsibilities) Answer incoming calls and retrieve voicemails, ensuring calls are addressed on the same day Assist customers with MyUSPTO account issues, including password resets and website-related support Review and respond to incoming emails regarding patents, trademarks, and other inquiries Use the Customer Contact Management System to track and document all inquiries and resolutions Mail applicable standard printed materials to callers or refer them to local Patent & Trademark Resource Centers (PTRCs) What Is Required (Qualifications) Must be a U.S. Citizen or have official legal status in the United States with two years of continuous residency Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain a Public Trust Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience, including contact center experience Effective listening and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously and professionally with customers Proficiency in using software or web-based databases and various email platforms How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience using a knowledge base for customer interactions Familiarity with Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) telephone systems Previous data entry and problem logging experience in a contact center environment #GovernmentServices #CustomerService #CareerOpportunity #CompetitivePay #BenefitsPackage We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
