Job Description
Customer Service Representative Stormy Kromer Stormy Kromer is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to be the front line of communication for our customers and internal teams.This role is essential in delivering the high level of service that reflects our heritage, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality.Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls for the entire company, responding to customer inquiries or directing callers to the appropriate team member. Respond to customer messages and comments on Facebook and Instagram in a timely, professional manner. Monitor and respond to customer inquiries through online chat. Provide customers with accurate information regarding unit pricing, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and other product or order details. Write or enter customer orders into the computer system to calculate total costs, including pricing, discounts, and shipping charges. Import orders into internal systems and maintain accurate records of all orders received. Verify order accuracy and follow up to ensure delivery by specified dates. Process customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies. Receive, document, and assist in resolving customer complaints. Work closely with production, shipping, warehouse, and carrier personnel to trace, expedite, or resolve delayed or missing shipments. Maintain and update customer name and address databases. Create no-charge shipping labels for customer replacements as needed. Conduct regular factory tours for visitors and customers. Participate in the retail store rotation, including up to one Saturday per month. Provide customer service and administrative support to internal staff. Assist other departments, including production, during slower seasons. Perform all other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage a variety of customer interactions across multiple platforms. Comfortable working with computers, order entry systems, and databases. Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and adapt to changing priorities.Work Environment This position involves a mix of office, retail, and factory interaction and may require standing, walking, and engaging with visitors during tours.This is an in person, full-time position with regular hours, Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm, up to one Saturday per month.Overtime required during peak season and factory sale days.Job Type:Full-time Expected hours:40 per week Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
