Customer Service Representative - Insurance Agency Location:WebsterSD (In-office)Job Type:Full-timeCompensation:Competitive hourly wage or salary, based on experience benefits Job Summary We are a growing, client-focused insurance agency seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to assist our clients with their insurance needs.This role is ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and enjoys helping people.You will be a key point of contact for clients, supporting day-to-day service requests and helping ensure a smooth, professional customer experience.Key Responsibilities Assist clients with policy questions, changes, and service requests Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries in a professional and friendly manner Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, ID cards, billing questions, and policy updates Follow up with clients regarding renewals, missing information, and documentation Maintain accurate client records and notes in the agency management system Support agents with administrative tasks and client communication Build strong relationships with clients through excellent service and follow-through Comply with insurance regulations and agency procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred) Previous customer service experience required (insurance experience preferred but not required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working on a computer and learning new systems Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Insurance license or willingness to obtain one (agency will assist if needed) Preferred Skills (Not Required) Experience in an insurance agency (P&C, Life, or Health) Familiarity with agency management systems Sales or account service experience Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for licensing and professional development Supportive, small-team environment Long-term growth opportunity within the agency How to Apply Apply through Indeed or submit your resume with a brief introduction explaining why you would be a good fit for this role.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$20.00 - $25.93 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
