Virginia Furniture Market is seeking a customer-oriented service representative for our newest location in Danville, Virginia. A customer service representative, or CSR, will be physically located in our Danville store and will serve as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency. Our CSRs are genuinely excited to help our customers. Patience, empathy & passion for what we do are key. Problem-solving comes naturally to our great team of customer service specialists. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage incoming calls Process sales invoices as purchases are made Arrange financing & layaway payments Schedule customer deliveries Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies Go the extra mile to engage customers Skills Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative Great communication skills Strong phone skills and active listening Familiarity with CRM systems and practices Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Virginia Furniture Market is an equal opportunity employer.
