Customer Service SupervisorPortland, ORDescription Position Title: Customer Service Supervisor Department: Order Fulfillment Reports To: General Manager Job Summary: The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, including customer service, order fulfillment, picking, collating, and the bin store at BuyWander. This role involves supervising Order Fulfillment Specialists and Customer Service Specialists, ensuring efficient workflows, providing excellent customer service, managing schedules, handling customer complaints, and being the person-in-charge of closing the store. The Order Fulfillment Supervisor will act as the primary point of contact for customer interactions and ensure a smooth and positive experience for all customers. Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and manage Order Fulfillment Specialists and Customer Service Specialists through the entire order fulfillment process - from picking to collating to scanning out items. Set and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours. Provide training and guidance to team members as needed. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Customer Service Management: Serve as the front line for customer service, handling inquiries, complaints, and returns. Ensure all customers are greeted warmly and receive prompt and helpful assistance. Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally. Bin Store Management: Oversee the operations of the bin store, including cashiering duties, inventory management, and store cleanliness. Ensure accurate scan-out of all items in customer carts. Order Fulfillment Oversight: Monitor and coordinate order fulfillment tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Work with the team to address any issues or delays in order processing. Returns Processing: Manage the returns process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Inspect returned items for damage and update inventory accordingly. Store Closing Duties: Act as the Person-In-Charge of closing the store each day. Follow all store SOPs to ensure the store is closed safely and the next shift is set up for success. Requirements Qualifications: Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent track record of customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Problem solving and communication skills. Comfortable using computers and various software programs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds. Flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks. Essential Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, and reach. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
