Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Cybersecurity Assessment Program under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) JETS contract. The SME will provide expert-level research, analysis, and technical direction on complex cybersecurity challenges. This role requires independent thinking, advanced technical acumen, and the ability to develop innovative solutions aligned with long-term strategic goals. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Serve as a technical expert to the Cybersecurity Assessment Program, offering guidance and interpretation on complex cybersecurity issues. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support the development of cybersecurity strategies and solutions. Recommend and assist in the selection of cybersecurity software tools, including the development of product-specific STIGs based on applicable DISA SRGs. Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and CCRI evaluations across networks, databases, applications, and IT frameworks. Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and methodologies to solve unusually complex problems. Develop and guide the implementation of new cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
