Department Profile The mission of the Cyber Data Risk and Resilience division is to ensure the Firm manages its global businesses and serves clients on a market-leading technology platform that is resilient, safe, efficient, smart, fast, and flexible. The Security Response Team (SRT) is part of the Cyber Data Risk and Resilience division and manages the incident response capability to support day-to-day cross-enterprise event investigations and strategic input into security controls and countermeasures to proactively create better security for the Firm. The group's vision is to deliver programs that protect and enable the business, ensure secure delivery of services to clients, adjust to address the risks presented by an evolving threat landscape, and meet regulatory expectations. Postion Overview This position is a critical leadership position within CIRT leading efforts to North America CIRT 24/7 operations and utilizing data from CIRT investigation to improve protective controls. The leader is responsible for overseeing the 24/7 CIRT operations, finding opportunities for efficiencies, and utilizing data from CIRT investigation to drive and lead changes with Cyber Security Engineers. This role is essential to ensuring CIRT can become more efficient and is able to work with Security Engineers to ensure the Firm is better protected. Without a dedicated lead to focus on efficiencies CIRT will continue to struggle keeping up with alert volumes and will require additional staffing. Experience leading 24 7 Cyber Incident Response or Security Operations functions within a large, complex enterprise environment, including oversight of shift-based teams and on-call models. What You Will Bring To The Role 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity risk management Demonstrated ability to lead operational transformation, including driving efficiency improvements, reducing alert fatigue, and optimizing investigative workflows using data and metrics derived from incident response activities. Strong technical background in incident response, threat detection, and cyber investigations, with the credibility to partner effectively with Cyber Security Engineers and influence control improvements. Proven experience using investigation data, KPIs, and trend analysis to inform decision-making, prioritize engineering changes, and improve protective controls across the firm. Demonstrated leadership in cross functional collaboration, particularly with Security Engineering, Risk, and broader Cyber organizations, to translate operational findings into durable security enhancements. Strong people leadership skills, including experience mentoring managers and senior analysts, setting operational priorities, and maintaining performance in a high volume, high pressure environment.
