Job Title: Research Associate II, Cytology Job Type: Contract on W2 Work Model: Onsite Location: Onsite, Tucson, AZ Duration: Contract on W2 (2 Years) About the Role We are hiring a Research Associate II, Cytology to support research, development, and manufacturing laboratory activities. This role focuses on designing and executing experiments, analyzing results, maintaining compliant documentation, and contributing to cross-functional project goals in a regulated laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities Design, execute, and document laboratory experiments with minimal supervision Analyze data, interpret findings, and present technical summaries Prepare reports, protocols, and quantitative analyses Troubleshoot laboratory issues and implement corrective actions Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with GMP, GLP, and quality standards Collaborate with team members on project planning and process improvements Support training of peers and uphold Quality First Time principles Assist in identifying innovative and potentially patentable solutions Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related field 2 to 4 years of relevant post-college laboratory experience Hands-on experience with cytology specimens and slide preparation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work onsite in a laboratory environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Hologic ThinPrep Processor 2000 / T2000 Experience with Hologic ThinPrep Totalys Slide Processor Exposure to regulated environments and quality systems
