State of New Hampshire Job Posting DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES WATER DIVISION / DAM BUREAU 29 HAZEN DRIVE, CONCORD NH 03301 DAM CONTROL OPERATOR II Position #TMPPT5249 Typical Starting Salary: $ 19.96/hour - $ 26.41/hour The State of New Hampshire, Department of Environmental Services, Water Division, Dam Bureau, has a part-time vacancy for a Dam Control Operator II. Summary Performs routine duties involving the operation and maintenance of dams, buildings, structures, property, dam control devices, and collecting hydrologic data to ensure the proper control of flow and levels of inland water bodies for the Department of Environmental Services, Water Division. YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education. Other information MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 3 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in the fields of construction, maintenance, operation and monitoring, or comparable experience building and grounds maintenance, landscaping, carpentry or site construction. License/Certification: Valid driver's license and have access to transportation for statewide travel. Other Requirements: Must perform regular job functions in adverse working conditions such as heavy rain, snow or ice storms. When necessary, must perform duties of position during emergencies, exclusive of normal working hours.
