Dance Instructor (Ballet)

River Oaks Dance is a premier children’s dance studio in Houston with two locations, known for combining strong technical training with a positive, engaging classroom environment. We are seeking a part-time Ballet Instructor for the 2026–2027 season to teach dancers ages ~3–15 using a structured, developmentally appropriate curriculum. Responsibilities Teach engaging, level-appropriate ballet classes Implement a provided curriculum with strong technique and structure Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment Prepare students for performances and continued progression Qualifications 3+ years teaching dance (ages 3–15) Strong foundation in classical ballet Degree in Dance or certified in training program (ABT, RAD, etc.) Professional, reliable, and confident in classroom management Able to teach at both studio locations Details Schedule: Afternoon/evening + Saturday availability Term: September 2026 – May 2027 Compensation: $45–$55/hour, based on experience Audition Process Qualified applicants will be asked to: Participate in an interview Teach a sample class How to Apply Please submit Resume Headshot Short introduction video Teaching video (if available)
