Location : 107 Ridge Ave., Athol, MA Hours/week: 2-5 hours per week Exemption: Non-exempt Pay Range : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications The Performing Arts Dance Instructor is responsible for presenting a positive and competent image of The Salvation Army through a quality dance program designed to meet the needs of the children. Assist as a Kid’s club aid and do drama skits with the children. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide instruction in dance using sound principles, effective techniques, and age-appropriate teaching methods. Teach dance classes to children of diverse backgrounds and varying ability levels. Develop and implement programs that are tailored to meet the needs and skill levels of participants. Establish individual goals and provide personalized instruction to support each participant’s growth and development. Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. Report any facility-related hazards or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor promptly. Ensure that all classes begin and end on time.
