Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our innovative team. Duties Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as SQL, R, Python, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization platforms to communicate key findings effectively. Collaborate with business units to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions. Implement database design principles using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar systems to optimize data storage and retrieval. Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements or new initiatives. Support project management activities within an Agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of analytics projects aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices. Develop scripts using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), or Python to automate routine data tasks and streamline workflows. Maintain documentation of data processes using Visio or similar tools for clarity and knowledge sharing. Engage in business intelligence activities by integrating linked data sources and supporting analytics initiatives across departments. Experience Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in SQL programming for database querying and management across platforms like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for creating compelling dashboards. Solid understanding of ETL processes and tools like Talend or similar platforms for data integration tasks. Knowledge of programming languages including R and Python for statistical analysis and automation purposes. Familiarity with database design concepts, business analysis techniques, and the SDLC methodology within an Agile framework. Strong analysis skills complemented by excellent communication abilities to present insights clearly to diverse audiences. Experience working with linked data sources and supporting analytics initiatives that influence strategic decisions.
