Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES The ??Data Center Engineer - Mid ?is expected to be able to: Install, configure, and maintainservers, storage systems, and network devices. Perform rack and stack, structured cabling (copper/fiber), and equipment integration. Execute system imaging, patching, upgrades, and hardware replacement. Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, and hardware failures. Monitorsystem health, alerts, and environmental conditions. Maintain asset accountability and update configuration management systems (CMDB). Apply cybersecurity controls, including STIG compliance and patch management. Support incident response, outage coordination, and maintenance activities. Document configurations, procedures, and changes in accordance withoperational standards. May include shift work, on-call support, and off-hours maintenance.
