Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management industry, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1, you will be part of the Data Center Operations supporting logistics, inventory management, and data processing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 Location: Manassas, VA Pay Range: $24 - $26/hour with Benefits & PTO Shifts : Monday through Friday, Core Business Hours What's the Job? Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accurate data management Coordinate and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities Conduct inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and compliance activities within the data center environment Handle material movement, shipping, receiving, and inventory management following standard procedures Assist in the destruction of data-bearing devices in accordance with documented procedures and runbooks What's Needed? High School Diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or related fields within an IT environment Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) Previous experience working in a data center environment preferred Ability to work independently and manage time effectively What's in it for me?
