Datacenter Hardware Technician Location: Memphis, TN (100% Onsite) Shift: This is a 24/7 data center with rotating shifts, at least for the first few months. After several months, this will rotate back to a normal Monday-Friday (8-5 or 9-6) role. Current shifts: Tuesday-Saturday (7am-4pm) Sunday-Thursday (3pm-12am or 11pm-8am) Salary: 75-85K (based on experience) Overview: We are seeking skilled Datacenter Hardware Technicians to manage break/fix operations, ensuring seamless operations of Dell servers in a fast-paced environment. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, with an emphasis on hardware repair, rack and stack, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working onsite in a dynamic datacenter environment, managing tickets, and collaborating with a team to resolve hardware issues quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities: Hardware Support: Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and hardware replacement (e.g., GPUs, NICs, memory, etc.) for Dell servers and related equipment. Ticket Management: Track and manage service tickets, prioritizing and resolving issues in a timely manner. Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve hardware failures, leveraging expertise in server components and systems. Customer Service: Provide clear and effective communication with team members and internal customers, ensuring a smooth experience. Physical Tasks: Lift up to 65 pounds, work on ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks in the datacenter.
