Job Description
IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide. Our client is looking for a Data Warehouse Developer. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing ETL solutions using Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). This role requires strong hands-on experience with Data Integration (DI), Taskflows, Mappings, parameter files, and reusable transformations to build scalable, secure, and high-performing data pipelines. The candidate will manage metadata, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and drive continuous optimization within the IDMC and data warehouse environment. Tasks Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to translate functional requirements into well-architected IDMC-based data integration solutions. Develop ETL mapping specifications, performance tuning, ensuring data security compliance, and supporting the migration, enhancement, and maintenance of IDMC workflows aligned with enterprise data warehousing best practices. Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining. Perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. Develop processes and procedures for entering information into data warehousing systems and for ensuring reliability of information entered. Seek continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data. Conduct tasks and assignments as directed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required : Strong verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of meetings with customers and technical staff Knowledge and skills in the project development life cycle process (i.e., planning, analysis, design, design, coding, testing, implementation, support) Effective interpersonal relations skills, ability to effectively collaborate with others and work as part of a team Skills in navigating a large organization in order to accomplish results Ability to initiate and follow through on complex projects of both short- and long-term duration Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, assume responsibility for job development and training, researching and resolving questions and problems, requesting supervisor input and keeping supervisor informed NOTE: No WI residency required. Open to Nationwide candidates. Mostly remote but can require staff to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice. Candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required. Location: Remote Contract: 1 years Skills Required 4+ years - Experience in data warehousing process design, development, performance & tuning using the Informatica data warehousing tool suite Developing skills in the architecture of data warehouse and data integration strategies and solutions 3+ years - Knowledge of relational database technologies, e.g. Oracle, DB2, SQL Server 4+ years - Strong data management and data analysis using SQL 3+ years - Experience with Informatica IDMC Experience in design, development, and testing in IDMC. Strong foundation in data warehousing concepts, data integration methodologies, and solution delivery Knowledge in data warehouse best practice standards Proficient in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries in Oracle, DB2, SQL Server Hands-on experience using Control-M for job scheduling and workflow automation.
