Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and a strong commitment to providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including toddlers, and requires experience in early childhood education or related fields. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in daily activities to promote their physical, emotional, and social development. Create a safe and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster growth in key developmental areas. Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to encourage positive interactions among peers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare space, ensuring all safety standards are met. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Provide care for children with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and understanding. Administer first aid when necessary, following established protocols for health and safety. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Experience in toddler care, babysitting, or caregiving is highly valued. Familiarity with first aid procedures and certifications is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. A background in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
