Job Description
Acts with director to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate the efficient operation of a healthy, nurturing educational setting, under the guidelines of NAEYC and all state and federal regulatory agencies. Acts in lieu of director in their absence and in emergencies. Assists in the administration of the budgetary, regulatory compliance, curricular, and enrollment aspects for the center. Advocates for children and the program within the context and limits of the PA Early Intervention System; interfaces on a variety of levels with families, staff, therapists, specialists, and other ancillary professionals. Acts as liaison for individuals and entities that interact with the department. Mandated Reporter Training required within 30 days of hire; and to be maintain every 5 years. Education Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field Required Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field Preferred or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 2 years experience in office and staff management Required 5 years experience in early childhood education Required Licenses Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Preferred Pediatric First Aid CPR Required
