Duties Supervise and care for children in a safe, nurturing classroom setting, fostering their growth through age-appropriate activities. Manage classroom behavior with positive guidance and effective behavior management techniques. Prepare and serve healthy, balanced meals and snacks, adhering to dietary guidelines and safety standards. Safely operate the school bus or transportation vehicle to escort children to and from the daycare center, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Assist with toddler care, infant care, and preschool activities that promote childhood development and early learning skills. Maintain accurate attendance records, daily activity logs, and communication with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being. Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up learning stations, and ensuring a clean, organized environment. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Valid certification in First Aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavioral challenges positively. Experience with caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial. Ability to operate school transportation safely and responsibly; valid driver’s license required. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage positively with children and parents.
