DCS Application Engineer 1

Summary: Provide engineering support for customer projects. Work under the direction of senior engineers to execute defined scopes of work on a project. Opportunities may arise to take the lead role on projects of limited size, complexity and risk. On going development technically and professionally (customer facing skills) in alignment with the Schneider values of intentional growth and development. Location : Hybrid role at our Houston, TX Hub reporting 2 days a week to the office with up to 30% travel for site commissioning. What will you do? Apply Schneider products to address customer process control needs Review as sold system architecture and make corrections as necessary Review Bill of Materials (BOM) - hardware and software Prepare project specification documents Implement project based on defined project specification documents. Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure compatibility with Schneider Electric's solution Create system network and interconnection diagrams Develop and apply solutions based on inputs from product manuals and other trainings. Develop detailed project execution plan for system engineer scope Participate in customer witnessed acceptance testing of contracted projects Participate in customer startup and commissioning activities Execute work such that it meets Schneider and customer quality requirements Work with local and remote teams to meet project deliverables Attend customer meetings and participate in system related discussions Support PM, LE, Field Service and customer on wide ra
