Created/Revised Date: 5/1/2026 Anticipated Closing Date: 6/1/2026 Job Title: Deductions & Cash Application Analyst Location: Remote (100%) Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire FLSA Status: Exempt Compensation: The salary range for this position is expected to be between $65,000-80,000 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for 5% bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans. About The Role The Deductions & Cash Application Analyst is responsible for managing customer deductions, supporting cash application processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across AR systems. This role plays a critical part in minimizing revenue leakage, improving deduction resolution timelines, and maintaining alignment between systems such as Vividly, NetSuite, and bank reconciliation processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies across high-volume transactional environments. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Deductions Management Review and clear customer deductions using Vividly, ensuring timely and accurate resolution Investigate discrepancies between Vividly and internal CM Tracker Monitor deduction trends and escalate unresolved or aged items Support dispute tracking and follow-up to maximize recovery of funds Cash Application & Credit Management Review remittances from customer portals and AR inbox Create and apply credit memos related to deductions and disputes Track repayments from resolved disputes and ensure proper posting Maintain and update the credit memo tracker with all activity Reporting & Reconciliation Review daily transaction reports (credit memos, bills, journal entries, settlements) for errors and variances Perform reconciliation checks between NetSuite, Vividly, and internal trackers Monitor bank reconciliation summaries and identify cash application gaps Support monthly settlement reporting and quality control checks Invoice & Order Oversight Review open invoices for accuracy and completeness Monitor orders pending billing and ensure alignment with fulfillment data Assist in identifying invoicing or EDI-related errors impacting revenue EDI & Error Resolution Analyze invoice and EDI errors and partner with EDI team to resolve issues Identify root causes of recurring errors and recommend process improvements Qualifications 5–8+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, deductions management, cash application, or revenue operations Strong experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and deduction platforms (e.g., Vividly), including data reconciliation across multiple systems Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) with the ability to analyze large, complex datasets and identify root causes of discrepancies Demonstrated ability to own and improve AR processes, including deductions resolution, cash application accuracy, and reporting workflows Experience working in high-volume, complex retail environments, preferably within CPG, food & beverage, or consumer goods Proven ability to manage major customer accounts (e.g., Amazon, Target, Walmart, UNFI, KeHE) and navigate their deduction and compliance requirements Preferred Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and EDI teams Experience identifying and resolving system or integration issues (e.g., EDI errors, automation discrepancies) and driving process improvements Background in CPG, food & beverage, or consumer goods industries Benefits Industry competitive salary plus bonus depending on experience Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) Competitive Paid Time Off Disclaimer: The compensation and benefits information in this posting represent a good faith and reasonable estimate of what it might pay for this position .
