Defense Attorney About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Defense Attorney to join its growing legal team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in insurance defense who is confident managing cases independently from initial intake through trial. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-impact matters while contributing to a collaborative and results-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Handle a full caseload of insurance defense matters from intake through trial Represent clients in cases involving premises liability, property damage, and labor law Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs Conduct legal research and develop case strategies Manage discovery, depositions, and trial preparation Provide clear, strategic advice to clients throughout the litigation process Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to overall case strategy Qualifications & Experience: 8–10+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation Proven experience handling premises liability, property damage, and labor law cases Strong motion practice and appellate writing experience Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently through trial Admission to practice in Florida, New Jersey, or Connecticut is a plus Why Join Opportunity to work on complex and meaningful litigation matters High level of autonomy and responsibility Collaborative and professional team environment Platform to further develop trial and appellate advocacy skills
