Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Counter Person to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong background in the restaurant or café industry. As a Counter Person, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional dining experience by efficiently handling customer orders, managing cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Operate the POS system for order processing and cash handling. Prepare food items as per customer requests while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen equipment. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in the restaurant, café, or food industry is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic cash handling experience is required. Culinary knowledge or experience in a grocery store setting is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
