Grocery Outlet of Jamison is a small business in Jamison, PA.We are locally owned and operated.Our goal is to provide a clean, fresh and unique experience while shopping.Not only do we give our customers 40-70% off their grocery basket, but we aim to build a family team member experience so everyday will be a great day while earning money for you and your family.Our work environment includes:Growth opportunities On-the-job training Flexible working hours Safe work environment Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Deli Merchandiser to join our team.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience by effectively presenting products and ensuring that displays are visually appealing and aligned with our brand standards.This position requires a blend of analytical skills and creativity, focusing on inventory management and store presentation.Responsibilities Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales.Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained and manage inventory control processes.Collaborate with store management to stock fresh meat, deli and produce items.Maintain cleanliness and organization of merchandise areas, ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers accurately, handling cash transactions with precision.Provide training development for new staff on merchandising standards, inventory management, and customer service best practices.Skills Proficient in retail math for effective analysis of sales trends and inventory levels.Strong knowledge of inventory control processes to manage stock efficiently.Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.Familiarity with cash register operations in a retail environment.Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on cleanliness and orderliness in merchandise presentation.Join us as a Deli Merchandiser where your creativity meets strategy, contributing to an engaging shopping experience for our customers!
