OverviewJoin our team as a Delivery Driver and Factory Worker.In this versatile role, you'll be responsible for delivering products efficiently to customers, assisting in factory operations, making special deliveries, assisting in delivery and placement of equipment, and equipment maintenance all over Maui.This is a full-time position days and hours will vary and will include early morning and day shifts.This is a great position for someone who has a variety of skills and doesn't want to be pigeonholed into a single occupation.DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED, Forklift training provided This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your driving skills, gain warehouse experience, and be an essential part of a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, reliability and customer service.Kihei Ice is a small company that appreciate it employees and offers excellent benefits.Your contribution will help keep our operations running smoothly and customers satisfied.Duties Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations, ensuring timely arrivals.Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, maintaining safety protocols at all times.Follow designated delivery routes accurately, managing route driving efficiently to maximize productivity.Assist in factory tasks such as moving materials, organizing inventory, and packaging and palletizing ice.Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating professionally and addressing any concerns courteously.Ensure all delivery documentation is complete and accurate, including logs for inbound/outbound shipments and incident reports.Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks to ensure optimal operation.Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar route driving role with a focus on customer service.Warehouse experience including loading/unloading, heavy lifting, and operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.Valid driver's license REQUIRED (with a clean driving record); experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.Ability to handle physical tasks such as moving heavy items safely and efficiently.Familiarity vehicles and adherence to safety standards during driving and warehouse activities.Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and warehouse inventory.Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers.Able to work independently and well with others.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$24.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours:32 - 50 per week Benefits:401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Paid training Work Location:In person.
