Delivery Driver - Urgent Hiring - $22.50/hr Pay : $22.50/hr Schedule: Part-Time Location: 2751 Skypark Dr., Torrance, CA 90505 Become a Delivery Associate / Driver with Dynamik XP Dynamik XP is an Delivery Service Partner that is owned and operated by a Los Angeles Area business mogul. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are inspired and motivated to work smart and work hard in a team environment. As a delivery driver, you will be the face of our company. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location. Currently, we are looking to fill part-time driving positions in Torrance, CA. Delivery Driver Responsibilities: Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions, and deliver packages safely and punctually You can expect to work about 2-3 days per week and up to 10 hours per day. Follow strict safety standards on and off the road Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records Have a positive can-do attitude Perform a variety of duties in the operation of Dynamik XP such as driving, loading, unloading Ability to use a handheld device. This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, pushing, pulling, and lowering of packages from above the head and sliding packages that typically weigh up to 50 pounds. Continuous movement in and out of the vehicle, walking, sitting, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching during shift. Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; cleans equipment. Mandatory for Drivers to Assist if needed. Must be able to deliver between 250 to 300 packages within a 10-hour work shift Other duties as assigned by the site manager. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment. Desired Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent Delivery Driver Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving. Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment. Ability to safely drive oversized vehicles. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, upper management, and the general public. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work independently. Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions. Ability to make independent judgments that have moderate impacts on the organization. Must be physically and mentally able to perform the essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to yourself or co-workers. Delivery Driver Requirements: We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the road and on the doorsteps of customers. Health and safety are always a top priority and the DSPs continue to consult with medical and health experts and take all recommended precautions to keep everyone healthy. Have a valid driver's license within the state of employment (a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required) Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less (you do not need to provide your own vehicle) Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation Clean Driving Record (No Seat Belt, No Cell or Device Violation) Applicants must be at least 21 years of age Must accept text messages from Company managers and other authorized Company employees regarding your schedule, performance, and other Company matters on your personal cell phone Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $22.50 per hour Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
