Job Title: Pickup & Delivery Driver (FedEx) Route Location(s): St. Marys, Ridgway, Kane, Emporium, Smethport, & Coudersport Dispatch Location: DuBois, PA (DUBO 158) Are you a motivated and reliable individual who thrives in an independent work environment and enjoys being on the move? As a Pick-Up & Delivery Driver, you'll have the opportunity to be manage your workday and become a familiar face as you ensure the timely and efficient delivery of packages. If you enjoy driving and being outside, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Responsibilities: Safely navigate local roads and deliver and pick up packages along a pre-determined route within the service area. Accurately scan and track packages using handheld devices. Adhere to all traffic laws and FedEx Ground safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service, representing FedEx Ground in a friendly and professional manner. Load and unload packages efficiently and safely. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Manage your time effectively to complete all assigned deliveries and pickups within the designated timeframe. Communicate effectively with route manager (AO/BC) and customers as needed. Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures. Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3-5 years). Ability to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) physical and drug screen. Ability to pass a background check. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly demeanor. Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy packages (up to 150 lbs or more) repeatedly throughout the day. Ability to navigate local roads using GPS devices effectively. Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively, embracing the independence of the position. Prior delivery driving experience is a plus but not required.
