DELIVERY DRIVER/WAREHOUSE WORKER AME, Inc.is a leading provider of building automation solutions in the tri-state area, located in Fairfield, NJ.We pride ourselves on providing innovative, custom solutions to meet our clients' needs.We are seeking a self-motivated delivery driver and warehouse assistant to join our team.Responsibilities:? Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or van to deliver materials to multiple job sites throughout NY and NJ ? Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries ? Load and unload material from the delivery vehicle ? Maintain delivery logs and records ? Assist with warehouse duties such as receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory ? Perform general maintenance and cleaning of delivery vehicles and warehouse ? Operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner and obey all traffic laws at all times Skills and Qualifications:? Valid driver's license and a clean driving record ? High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) ? Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role ? Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses ? Familiar with driving in NYC ? Knowledge of route driving and efficient delivery practices ? Experience operating a box truck, van, or other delivery vehicles ? Ability to work in all weather conditions ? Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment ? Ability to interact with fellow employees, management, and clients in a courteous and professional manner ?
