Dental Account/Billing Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a seeking a Dental Account/Billing Specialist to join our growing team.This role is responsible for managing dental claims, accounts receivable, ensuring accurate billing, timely claim submission, payment posting, and insurance follow-up.The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of dental insurance billing, claims processing, and accounts receivable management.Responsibilities Submit and track dental insurance claims electronically and manually Post insurance and patient payments accurately Follow up on unpaid or denied claims with insurance companies Resolve billing discrepancies and claim rejections Maintain accurate patient financial records in the practice management system Communicate with manager and dental offices regarding claim and accounts receivable status Work both patient and insurance aging reports and maintain healthy accounts receivable Qualifications Submit and track dental insurance claims electronically and manually Post insurance and patient payments accurately Follow up on unpaid or denied claims with insurance companies Resolve billing discrepancies and claim rejections Maintain accurate patient financial records in the practice management system Communicate with manager and dental offices regarding claim and accounts receivable status Work both patient and insurance aging reports and maintain healthy accounts receivable Preferred Qualifications Experience in a dental billing company or multi-practice support organization Knowledge of insurance appeals and claim resubmissions Familiarity with clearinghouses and electronic claim submission Highly analytical with a passion for accuracy Maintains 100% accuracy in reconciling daily transactions Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Experience:Dental Billing/Insurance:2 years (Required) Work Location:In person.
