Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. This position is essential for delivering exceptional service to our patients, particularly in areas such as pediatrics and prosthodontics. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Perform medical imaging and X-ray procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Take and record vital signs of patients to ensure their health and safety. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Support pediatric patients with a friendly demeanor to create a comfortable environment. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic to optimize efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and X-ray procedures is highly desirable. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality is essential. Experience in prosthodontics or working within a dental clinic setting is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, especially children. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role.
