Dental Assistant

Hi, We are looking for an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.We need someone who has a great attitude and is a team player.We are looking for someone who is very comfortable discussing treatment needs with our patients and fabricating temporary crowns.Duties:-Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room -Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history -Assist dentist and hygienist by handling supplies and instruments as requested -Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies -Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed -Take high quality dental radiographs -Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist -Working knowledge of dental procedure codes -Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials -Assist in end of day office closing activities -Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards and requirements in all interactions -Be a Team Player and assist team members as needed -Perform all duties with honesty, integrity and humility If a role such as this in a friendly dental office with great hours suits you please reach out.Thank you!
