Mason Periodontics & Dental Implants is looking for a full-time dental assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, experienced, quality-oriented and energetic. Candidate should have well-rounded clinical skills, exceptional communication skills, knowledge of dental software/computer skills, be a team-player and a self-starter. Competitive wage Vision insurance Your role: Assisting during periodontal surgical procedures such as osseous surgery, extractions, dental implants, biopsies, soft tissue grafts etc. Monitoring patient's vital signs during IV sedation. Taking CBCT scans and radiographs as needed. Reviewing patient care instructions. Explaining procedures to patients and reviewing patient education. Ordering dental supplies. Charting for hygiene. Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment. Preparing treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies and maintaining a clean environment following aseptic techniques. Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
