Dental Assistant

Duties Assist the dentist during dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments Take dental x-rays Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care Perform dental charting and maintain accurate medical documentation Assist with pediatric dental procedures Conduct patient assessments and record vital signs Utilize Open Dental software for patient scheduling and treatment planning Assist with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations Maintain and update patient dental records Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a dental assistant program with RDA Certificate X-ray certification required Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Familiarity with dental software preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
