Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care. In this hands-on position, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure efficient clinic operations, and help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Your skills in chairside assisting, infection control, radiography, and patient communication will contribute to high-quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities Assist dentists during procedures in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry while ensuring patient comfort and workflow efficiency Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms following strict infection control and aseptic protocols Take and process dental X-rays using digital imaging equipment, including 3D systems Accurately manage patient records in EMR systems (Denticon experience preferred but not required) in compliance with HIPAA standards Support patients by taking vital signs, explaining procedures, and addressing questions to reduce anxiety Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and uphold infection control standards Collaborate on medical documentation, coding, and comprehensive record updates Qualifications Minimum of two years of experience in General Dentistry Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with strong knowledge of dental and medical terminology Experience with Denticon EMR preferred (not mandatory) X-ray certification and proficiency in chairside assisting (four-handed dentistry) Solid understanding of infection control, aseptic technique, and dental anatomy Strong communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach Pay range is flexible and will be dependent on experience.
