Dental Hygienist-Part time

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. The Dental Hygienist will play a vital role in promoting oral health and ensuring a positive patient experience. This is a part time position for Tues or Thurs and if available for 1 Saturday a month Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures to maintain optimal oral health. Take and record vital signs, medical history, and dental assessments for patients. Conduct patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Assist with chairside procedures including medical imaging, documentation review, and medical coding. . Laser Certified- Preferred but not required Requirements Valid Dental Hygiene license with current state licensure. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and medical terminology. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high standards of infection control and aseptic technique.
