Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! In this essential role, you will be the friendly first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your expertise in medical administrative support, familiarity with dental and medical terminology, and proficiency with Eaglesoft. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their insurance coverage, and schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing accurate information and directing calls efficiently Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance verifications, and handle billing and collections . Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by reviewing documentation and safeguarding patient information Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient data, updating medical histories, and explaining treatment plans Process payments, handle medical collection activities, and perform basic dental coding in for billing purposes Support office management tasks such as filing documents, managing patient flow, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure seamless clinic operations Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist in a clinical or dental setting with clinic experience preferred Knowing teeth numbers and simple calculation is a must Knowing office schedule and what we stands for is a must Strong knowledge of Eaglesoft system is essential Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (10 key typing) Knowledge of dental terminology along with understanding of health information management practices Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality at all times Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and strong organizational abilities Prior experience in dental billing, insurance verification, or office management is highly desirable Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives by providing exceptional administrative support in a friendly and professional environment.
