Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing essential administrative tasks. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify appointments, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently Schedule appointments using dental practice management software ensuring optimal clinic flow Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, do detailed breakdown of insurances and process claims Collect payments, handle billing inquiries, and perform collection procedures with accuracy and professionalism Maintain and update patient records ensuring HIPAA compliance Answer phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear communication and scheduling support Review documentation for accuracy, process intake forms, and assist with dental codes for billing purposes Manage dental records filing, data entry, and ensure proper documentation review for compliance with healthcare regulations Support front desk operations by managing appointment reminders, patient inquiries, and office correspondence efficiently Qualifications Proven experience in a dental office setting with strong familiarity with dental terminology and clinical procedures Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Knowledge of insurance verification processes Proficiency in dental practice management software is highly desirable Excellent computer skills Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and health information management best practices Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding patient care while fostering a supportive work environment.
