Dental Receptionist (Dental Insurance Verification Experience Required)** We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a dental office, strong knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing, and excellent customer service skills. This position plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring smooth front office operations. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage Process insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and patient payments Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to patient inquiries Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed Coordinate with dental providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Handle billing questions and explain treatment estimates to patients Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information Perform general administrative and front desk duties Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years of dental receptionist or dental front office experience preferred Required experience with dental insurance verification, claims, and billing Knowledge of dental terminology and treatment procedures Experience with dental practice management software preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Preferred Skills Experience with scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) Strong understanding of PPO, HMO, and Medicaid dental insurance plans Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bilingual skills are a plus Job Type Full-time.
