Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Denture Technician Assistantto join our dental laboratory team.The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of dental fabrication, laboratory procedures, and patient-specific prosthetic development.As a Denture TechnicianAssistant you will be responsible for model work for dentures, partials, Setting of wax rims, processing the dentures and partials.This role requires a understanding of dental anatomy, materials, and technical processes to deliver exceptional results that meet patient needs and clinical standards. Duties Fabricate complete dentures, partial dentures, and other removable prostheses with precision using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology and traditional laboratory techniques. Collaborate closely with Denture Techs & dentists to interpret prescriptions, dental impressions, and diagnostic data to produce accurate prosthetic devices. Work closely with Denture Tech. Maintain strict infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines and aseptic techniques during all fabrication processes. Stay current with advancements in dental materials, and fabrication techniques to enhance quality and efficiency. Ensure adherence to infection control standards, laboratory safety protocols, and quality assurance measures throughout all stages of production. Pay Based on Experience Qualifications Knowledge of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology relevant to prosthetic development. Linited experience with materials such as acrylics, ceramics, and metals used in denture construction. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements using micrometers or similar tools. Knowledge of infection control practices specific to dental laboratories and medical imaging procedures related to patient assessments. Ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient needs, device adjustments, and treatment plans. Fast learner, able to pick up on thing quickly. Works well in a busy sometime high stress setting. Willingness to learn.
