Deployment Strategist 📍 New York City or San Francisco (Onsite) 💰 Competitive Base + Equity 160-300 base + equity + bonus Our client is an AI-native startup building next-generation enterprise automation software used by major customers in highly operational, complex environments. Backed by top-tier investors, they are scaling rapidly and hiring Deployment Strategists to lead customer rollouts and drive real-world adoption of their platform. This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of customers, product, engineering, and operations. The ideal person is highly execution-oriented, thrives in ambiguity, and enjoys turning messy real-world workflows into scalable deployment processes. What You’ll Be Doing Lead end-to-end deployments of the company’s AI platform across enterprise customers Own implementation timelines, rollout coordination, testing, project plans, and customer communication Work directly with customer stakeholders to understand workflows, operational pain points, and success metrics Translate customer requirements into actionable product and technical deliverables Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to surface workflow gaps, feature requests, and improvement opportunities Drive adoption, expansion, and measurable customer outcomes Become deeply embedded in customer operations and act as a trusted strategic partner Travel to customer sites as needed Ideal Background We are specifically looking for candidates who bring either: Strong implementation / deployment / solutions experience in a customer-facing environment, OR A technical background such as Computer Science, Engineering, or hands-on technical experience working closely with software systems MBB / top-tier consulting experience is highly valued, but candidates must also demonstrate strong operational execution, implementation ownership, or technical fluency. Pure strategy-only consulting backgrounds are unlikely to be the right fit.
