Job Description
POSITION Summary:Under general supervision, the Deposit Services Assistant provides operational support for the bank's deposit and digital services.The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and effectively with team members.Essential Functions: listed in priority order based on time, impact, and number of people qualified to do the task 1.eWire Administration A.Holds lead role (person 1) in wire processing.B.Process incoming & outgoing wire transfers.C.Review Documentation for accurate and complete information.D.Provide support to frontline staff and customers.E.Keep up-to-date procedures and train staff on changes.2.Telephone Receptionist A.Use multiple line telephone system to answer all incoming telephone calls.B.Answers customer inquiries and direct calls to appropriate persons or department.C.Takes detailed messages to be delivered to applicable staff via internal call, voicemail or email.D.Processes customer authorized telephone transfers when requested.3.Mobile Deposit Approval A.Uses FXD to review, approve or deny checks deposit channel.B.Working with head teller and other staff to determine if a hold necessity.C.Directly work with customers to be able to approve items.4.Direct Link Risk Review A.Review failed items DLRR system.B.Communicates with staff and customers to verify items that have failed to determine if they should be paid or retuned.5.E-Services Administration A.Online Banking customer service for customer & employees, including enrollment of new personal and business customers, and troubleshooting and supporting existing user issues.B.Bill Payment Customer Service C.Card Suite Lite - new customer enrollment and ongoing user support D.Mobile Wallet - new customer enrollment and ongoing user support 6.Charged Off Accounts A.Works the monthly report of charged off accounts to make recoveries B.Verifies if the customer used e-services and removes from necessary systems 7.Additional Job Functions A.Document Scanning review- review documents scanned by branches to ensure accuracy before archiving.B.Daily currier run between Deposit Ops and main office- exchange necessary documents and files, post and send out mail etc.C.Notices- print, fold, & mail OD notices.D.Returned Mail- Code accounts, charge and send letters for returned mail.E.Support Coverage- provides back-up to other Deposit Operations Team members as needed or assigned.F.Maintains up to date procedures for all job functions.G.Training- provides training/guidance to other team members as needed.H.Assist with special projects as needed.I.Accounting transaction- provides dual control support to accounting, processing transactions as needed.J.Updates internal phone list K.Reviews monthly user reports INCIDENTAL DUTIES 1.Attendance at weekly and quarterly team meetings 2.Completion of weekly time sheets to be submitted for supervisor approval 3.Serves as member of special committee meetings as required or requested 4.Filing 5.Research 6.Successfully completes In-House training Course's assigned by Manager 7.Off-site training seminars 8.Inter-office communications via e-mail, v-mail and courier 9.Performs all other duties as assigned 10.Communicates with customers via written and verbal correspondence to assure accuracy of information on the system and/or verify or obtain required account change authorization.11.Attendance in accordance with company policy and position requirements which could include evenings and weekends.12.All other duties as assigned COMPLIANCE Maintains current knowledge of bank compliance standards and performs all aspects of the job in accordance with those standards; including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Privacy, Security and consumer protection laws.Completes all periodic and mandatory training courses as assigned by the Compliance Officer(s) and Human Resources to ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and procedures and applicable laws.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours:40 per week Benefits:401(k) 401(k) 4% Match Bereavement leave Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Gym membership Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid sick time Paid time off Profit sharing Referral program Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Volunteer time off Work Location:In person.
