JOB FOR INQUIRIES, PLEASE CONTACT THE EMPLOYER: Greene County Recorder's Office69 Greene St 3rd FloorXenia, OH 45385937-562-5276•Part Time Unclassified Position.•Hours 12:00pm-4:30pm Monday – Friday.•Answer telephone and assist public in records request.•Handle incoming and outgoing mail.•Processing the scanning of recorded documents.•Type and index into Recorder’s system.•Preserve Historical Records•Represent the office in a professional and friendly manner.ENTRY RATE: Based on experience and knowledgeHOURS OF WORK: 40-45 hours bi-weeklyDEADLINE: May 21, 2026 EXAMPLE OF DUTIES PERFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES include: •Knowledge of real estate or real estate title work.•Prior office experience.•Understand instructions furnished in written or oral form.•Read and understand correctness/completeness of a variety of documents.•Knowledge of office practices and procedures.•Understanding of County Handbook and scheduling procedures.•Familiarity with the use of computers and business software such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook email, and various other software or the ability to learn them.•Use or learn to use various business scanning equipment and scanning software, fax machine, copier, and various other office equipment.•Use a keyboard to enter data into various databases efficiently and accurately.•Maintain effective working relationship with fellow employees, supervisors, other agencies county officials, and the general public.
