OverviewThe City of Monticello is currently accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Registrar Clerk to work Monday-Friday plus, 2 Saturday mornings a month.To be considered applicants must apply on the City of Monticello's website by 4/1/26.Essential Duties Processes new & used motor vehicle transactions which may include title transfers, registration, plates, change of class, conversions, etc.Collects appropriate fees.Processes new and used snowmobiles, all-terrain and off-highway vehicles, and watercraft for the Department of Natural Resources; issues game and fish licenses.Collects appropriate fees.Answers questions, by phone and in person, related to transactions, forms, attachments, and other rules, laws, and requirements.Processes applications for new and used vehicles for dealerships.Including pre-applications or straight entry.Qualifications One (1) year of responsible customer service work involving heavy public contact and data entry on a computer.Must be able to obtain their Deputy Registrar Title Certification within 12 months of employment.Preference will be given to applicants with current Certification.Pay:$23.25 - $33.54 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Work Location:In person.
